What happens after I submit my application form?
Once we receive your form, your application will progress through four separate stages:
- Stage 1 - Getting To Know You: our Recruitment Support Manager (RSM) will contact you by telephone to discuss your application and explain the next stages in the procedure. We want to build a long and profitable partnership with you and the Getting to Know You stage is designed to help both you and us decide if we can work together.
- Stage 2 - Meeting Up: our RSM will arrange for you to meet with one of our Business Development Managers (BDM) who will discuss the business of running a pub in general terms. This is our opportunity to assess your skills and experience and your opportunity to discuss your future in the pub industry with S&NPC.
- Stage 3 - Planning Your New Business: a few weeks later you will meet with a BDM for a second time to discuss your plans for your pub business in more detail. This second meeting is your opportunity to review and refine your business plan to ensure your proposals match what we believe can be achieved with any pub you may be offered.
- Stage 4 - Picking Up The Keys: once you have been formally offered a pub and signed the lease we will do all we can to help you move in as quickly as possible. This stage is designed to help you prepare for your first day of trading and highlight the essential tasks you must complete before you can pull your first pint.
